Psychological impacts caused by global warming are often ignored by society. On top of everything else, the impact on your mental health from climate change can be very real and impactful.

This virtual session, sponsored by WiFA’s Education Committee, invites experts from different backgrounds who will bring varied perspectives on mental health issues relating to current climate events. The discussion will also focus on social phenomena such as what is happening in Southeast Asia and the Arctic, which are being affected by environmental changes, as well as some explorations on how to think and practice positively and transform PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) into PTG (Post-Traumatic Growth).
