The goal of this event and panel is to bring male allies and advocates together to discuss the topic of engaging more men in the conversation about gender equality and create dialogue with WiFA members on what can be achieved if we all work together. What does a male champion/ally stand for; what is their role and how are they moving the needle towards gender equality. Learning from the male advocates on what challenges they face and what their successes have been.
There are internal and external networks, such as Male Champions of Change in Australia and Male Allies in HK as well as some internal networks at large corporate organisations. How do we get more men to be involved in the Women Networks, and at what point does an ally become an advocate, same as when does a mentor become a sponsor?
