WIFA Fitness Challenge – October 10
Please join WIFA and RUN’s Fall Fitness Challenge, a week-long event for charity. To launch the event, RUN Hong Kong has engaged coaches to initiate the challenge for participants on October 10. Coach Wong Chun Wing of PRO Running Club who has trained numerous Hong Kong long distance runners and her student, Marcia Zhou (How did Marcia Zhou set a marathon personal record five years after her previous best? | South China Morning Post (scmp.com)), one of the top female marathon runners in Hong Kong, will kick off the event at 6pm with warm ups and running tips for 30 minutes and then lead an hour long run. Runners will meet back at Tamar Park by 7:30pm.
Yoga instructor Carrie Chu will lead the yoga session. She is a Certified RYT 500 Yoga teacher and teaches alignment-based yoga, yoga therapy and yin yoga at her own studio – Surya Studio. The focus will be on alignment so it will be suitable for everyone. The length of the session will be about 45 minutes to an hour. Similar to the running session, yoga will finish by 7:30pm.
Don’t miss this fun and philanthropic event — even if you do not participate please join us BYOB and watch the sunset. It is an excellent opportunity for networking and meeting friends!
