WIFA’s Mentor Mentee Program (MMP) Committee, led by co-chair Olivia Havranek, is excited to announce an exclusive event specifically tailored for WIFA members interested in the 2024 program. We invite all WIFA MMP members who are eager to participate in this unique opportunity.

Hosted by Citibank, this event aims to address the pressing issue of mental health and well-being among individuals in our community who have been affected by recent layoffs. It will feature a panel discussion with Odile Thiang from Mind HK, Kirsty Hill from Oliver Wyman, and Dr Andrew Kong who will offer invaluable insights and guidance on effectively managing mental health concerns during these challenging times. Given the widespread layoffs and organizational changes occurring in financial institutions, the panel discussion will focus on the mental health challenges and anxieties that often arise in such stressful circumstances.

Mind HK is a mental health charity that exists to ensure no one in Hong Kong has to face a mental health problem alone. Find out more via their website https://www.mind.org.hk/

We believe this event will provide a platform for WIFA MMP members and Citi Women’s Network members to engage in meaningful discussions, explore coping mechanisms, and discover available resources related to managing their mental health. Together, we can foster a supportive environment and equip ourselves with the necessary tools to navigate the challenges imposed by the current professional landscape. By prioritizing mental health and well-being, we empower ourselves and our community to thrive amidst adversity.
