How would you introduce yourself?
Experienced marketing & communication professional in the financial industry. I am energetic, outgoing, not afraid to meet new friends, and I want to make a change.
What is your current role, and your participation within the diversity and inclusion initiatives?
Being the Director, Marketing Specialist in Bank Julius Baer, I have been responsible for new and innovative marketing strategies to help drive the brand to a more diversified and unique customer experience. Apart from my current role, I would like to take this opportunity in WiFA to extend myself to another horizon, network, and make full use of my skills and enthusiasm to have a positive influence.
Can you share one challenge you faced running your program, and one accomplishment that you are proud of?
No matter how well you have planned for an event or in marketing, there are always last minute changes and unexpected hiccups. There was an annual party our team needed to host. With a very limited budget, I enthusiastically encouraged my team to bring in new ideas (including charity donation and a local celebrity performance), minimize the cost and maximize the results. At the end, not only was the team proud of what we achieved, but we also gained a lot of positive feedback from
other departments.
What advice would you give to women who want to lead?
Commitment and persistence. Teamwork is very important. With all the digital innovations coming up overwhelmingly, a leader will always need support from the team, and should listen to them. A leader needs to show his/her commitment, and hence builds up trust and positive influence so as to create close communication and bonding. If you don’t commit to your goals, others cannot commit to following you.

Be proud of what you are doing. It is important that you create a positive influence on the work force of the future.
Tell us one unexpected fact about you
Because of my work, I am always talkative, sociable and active. On the other hand, I also have my quiet side. I enjoy reading and painting and use these moments to reflect on what to do next. These two sides are surprisingly complimentary when it comes to my current and future planning.
