How would you introduce/define yourself?

My career started in Goldman Sachs as an intern in 2006. I am responsible for cross asset coverage of Greater China corporate clients in the Global Markets Division. I am also the Co-chair of the Goldman Sachs Hong Kong Women’s Network. My mission is to advocate for women empowerment and gender equality with network steering committee members in our work community.

What is your participation within the diversity and inclusion initiatives, and what are the challenges involved?

Time is finite – it is always an evolving challenge to create a balance between my day job, my family and my passion (the Women’s Network). However, I do not fight the battles alone. I am most proud of the spirit of team work with my steering committee members who share the same vision. We provide consistent support to one another and have managed to sail through many journeys, like organizing our flagship annual Women’s Conference amid this unprecedented virus period.

What advice would you give to women who want to lead?

The lesson I learned throughout my career which I would love to share with women who want to lead is to get comfortable being uncomfortable. People look up to you for leadership and guidance in difficult times.

Tell us one thing that is important for #CreatingTheWorkforceOfTheFuture

Please tell us one fun fact about you

My secret to staying healthy, both physically and mentally, is practicing hot yoga. Sweating relentlessly in different yoga poses helps me to destress, regain my consciousness and sleep better!
